What are "bad" credit cards or bad credit credit cards?

Have you had a credit card application declined?

There could be many reasons why you might have trouble getting a credit card. Perhaps you are self employed and find it difficult to prove a regular income or you work part-time. Perhaps you are on a lower than average income, are not on the electoral roll, have little or no credit history or previous bad credit problems including County Court Judgments (CCJs).

There are now specialist credit card lenders that try to help people finding difficulty getting a credit card. They assess your individual circumstances and look at each application on its own merits. People who have been turned down elsewhere can apply to these credit card lenders for a “bad credit credit card”. It is possible to repair poor credit ratings by showing that you can manage a credit card responsibly over a period of time. It’s only possible to do this if you can get accepted for a new credit card – and that’s where these specialist lenders can come in. They don’t promise to accept your application for a credit card but they do take a close look at your individual financial situation and try to help even if you have been refused a credit card before.

It takes about five minutes to make a “bad credit” credit card application and you will usually receive a response from the lenders within a few minutes. To make a credit card application you must be aged over 18, a UK resident and have a landline phone number. It’s always a good idea to have your salary details, banking and employment address details to hand to avoid any delays in applying.

It is important to use any credit card carefully. If you do not pay off the credit card balance every month then the interest charged on your “bad credit” credit card can soon start to mount up. If you then fail to meet your minimum monthly payment obligation you will damage your credit rating even further. You should note that these special “bad credit” credit cards have a higher interest rate than normal credit cards.
